Be Ready if an Attack Occurs

Preparation is the key to Resiliency. Establish an incident plan, clear stakeholder roles and preform exercises. As a result your organization will know what to do to prevent an attack and be more prepared to recover, should one occur.

Don't just take it from us...

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) a component of the Department of Homeland Security, recommends that organizations take the following steps:

Conduct regular vulnerability scanning to identify and address vulnerabilities. Especially those on internet-facing devices, therefore limiting the attack surface.

Implement a cybersecurity user awareness and training program. Including guidance on how to identify and report suspicious activity (e.g., phishing) or incidents. Conduct organization-wide phishing tests to gauge user awareness. Reinforce the importance of identifying potentially malicious emails. As a result, you’ll reduce the chance of attackers gaining access to your network.

Create, maintain, and exercise a basic cyber incident response plan. You should also have an associated communications plan. Including response and notification procedures for a ransomware incident. Practice makes perfect.

Sabre On Point can help you safeguard your organization and reach your cybersecurity goals.
